Hello! I'm Valerie, a qualified and registered teacher with over 25 years of teaching experience working with children, teenagers and adults across a wide range of educational settings. Throughout my career, I've discovered that no two students learn in exactly the same way, which is why every lesson I teach is carefully adapted to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether a student is preparing for O-Level English, struggling with reading comprehension, developing stronger essay-writing skills or simply looking to become a more confident communicator, I provide patient guidance in a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and learn at their own pace. My teaching combines decades of classroom experience with modern learning strategies, helping students develop not only stronger academic results, but also the confidence and independence to continue improving beyond our lessons together.
