Instead, every lesson starts with identifying exactly where a student is losing marks. Sometimes it's weak conceptual understanding. Sometimes it's exam technique. Other times it's simply confidence. Once we've identified those gaps, lessons become much more focused and productive. Students are encouraged to explain their thought process aloud, because understanding how someone thinks is often more valuable than knowing whether an answer is right or wrong.
