Hi everyone 👋! I'm Melissa, a qualified Secondary English teacher with more than 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience. Throughout my career, I've taught in both local and international education settings, working with students from a wide range of backgrounds, including those learning English as an additional language. These experiences have shown me that every student can become a stronger communicator when they're given clear guidance, constructive feedback and the confidence to develop their own voice. Whether I'm helping a Secondary student prepare for O-Level English, supporting Humanities essay writing or guiding a learner who simply wants to become more confident using English, my lessons are always practical, encouraging and tailored to the student's individual goals. I believe improvement comes from understanding why writing works, not simply memorising model answers.
