I'm Jia Xuan, a qualified educator with over 15 years of teaching experience, supporting students from Primary School through Junior College. Throughout my career, I've worked with learners of different abilities, including students who require additional support with reading, writing, spelling, comprehension and attention. I believe every student is capable of improving when lessons are adapted to the way they learn. Rather than expecting students to fit a single teaching style, I tailor my lessons to strengthen their individual weaknesses while building confidence step by step. My classroom is a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing ideas and learning from mistakes.

Over the past 15+ years, I have taught in local schools, international schools, language enrichment centres and private tuition organisations, giving me extensive experience working with students from different curricula and educational backgrounds. My teaching covers: - English Language - Humanities - History - Geography - Academic Writing - Literacy & Reading Development I also have experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, adapting lesson structures, pacing and teaching strategies to help every learner reach their potential. Each programme is individually planned according to the student's school syllabus, learning goals and current ability. Lessons may include literacy development, vocabulary building, essay planning, comprehension strategies, examination preparation and targeted revision based on recent schoolwork. Students receive customised worksheets, carefully selected reading materials, annotated writing feedback, model responses, practice papers and personalised improvement plans. Parents are also kept updated on their child's progress through regular feedback and recommendations for continued improvement outside lesson time. My goal is not only to help students achieve stronger examination results, but also to develop confident readers, capable writers and independent learners who can communicate clearly in every stage of their education.
