Helping IB Students Turn Understanding into Top Results
The IB rewards students who can think critically, apply concepts and explain their reasoning clearly—not just memorise content. I'm Catherine, currently pursuing my studies at Singapore Management University (SMU) after completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma with outstanding results. I specialise in IB Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry, helping students build the confidence and analytical skills needed to excel throughout the IB programme. Having completed the IB myself, I understand the challenges of balancing Higher Level subjects, Internal Assessments and final examinations. My lessons focus on making complex topics easier to understand while equipping students with practical examination strategies and efficient revision techniques. Academic Background 🌟 Singapore Management University (SMU) 🌟 St. Joseph's Institution (IB Diploma Programme) 🌟 IB Score: 44/45 🌟 HL Mathematics AA – 7 🌟 HL Biology – 7 🌟 HL Chemistry – 7 Teaching Experience I tutor IB and IGCSE students in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry, helping learners strengthen conceptual understanding while improving examination performance. Lessons are personalised according to each student's current topics, predicted grades and academic goals. Students receive concise revision notes, IB-style practice questions, past paper discussions and detailed feedback to help them improve steadily throughout the year. I also provide guidance for Internal Assessments (IAs) by helping students refine their methodology, analysis and presentation while ensuring all submitted work remains entirely their own. Whether you're aiming for a 6 or pushing for a 7, my goal is to help you study more efficiently, understand concepts more deeply and approach every IB assessment with confidence.
