An Engineer Who Finds the Explanation That Finally Clicks

Every student learns differently. Some understand best through diagrams, others through real-life examples, while some simply need someone to explain the same idea from a different perspective. I'm Brandon, a Mechatronics Engineering undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with 5 years of tutoring experience. Before entering NTU, I graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Mechatronics & Robotics (GPA 3.86/4.00), where I developed a passion for applying Mathematics and Science to solve practical engineering problems. One of the things I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students overcome the belief that they're "just not good" at a subject. Whether a student has fallen behind due to missed lessons, struggles with concentration or simply needs a different explanation, I adapt my teaching style until concepts finally click. My long-term goal isn't to make students dependent on tuition—it's to equip them with the confidence and learning strategies to succeed independently.
