Hi! I'm Abner, currently a Computer Science undergraduate at the National University of Singapore (NUS) after graduating from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Information Technology (GPA 3.87/4.00). Coming from the polytechnic pathway, I understand that every student learns differently. My teaching style is patient, practical and focused on helping students understand concepts instead of memorising methods. Whether it's Mathematics or Programming, I enjoy breaking complex ideas into simple, logical steps that students can confidently apply on their own. I believe lessons should be interactive and encouraging, creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while learning.

Before starting university, I taught at several Singapore tuition centres, supporting students across Primary, Secondary and Polytechnic levels. I specialise in Mathematics, while also offering support for Programming and introductory Computer Science modules for Polytechnic students. Lessons are tailored to each student's learning pace and academic goals, whether they're strengthening fundamentals, preparing for examinations or catching up on difficult topics. Students receive concise summary notes, carefully selected practice papers, worked examples and personalised feedback after each lesson. My goal is to help every student become a more confident, independent learner while developing the logical thinking skills that are valuable both in school and beyond.
